Rita Owoo, a seasoned Ghanaian gospel artist and ordained reverend preacher, is better known in the music community as AbaRita Nhyira.
Sekondi-Takoradi in the Western Region is where she was born and reared. The 23-year worship career of AbaRita Nhyira is what made her most famous.
Ten albums have been released by Her. Her debut album, “Adom Bi,” was published in 1999. Her second album, “Ebenezer,” had the hits “Yw Nyame an oye” and “Don’t Worry” in 2001.
In 2003, she released her third album, “Yesu Ye Kanea,” which featured the successful song “Ayie Ayie Ayie” (Domberima).
Ahouden foforo, Io lo so (Italy), God of miracles, Master Jesus, Amen, Yesu Mogya Akasa, and Victory are some of her other albums.
She recently released the singles “Surprise” with Obaapa Christy, “Me ka Na Way,” and “I Pray” from her VICTORY album.
During her peak, Reverend AbaRita Nhyira was an evangelist and a prayer warrior.
Before pursuing music as a full-time career, she was a young, active Christian.
She was baptized at the Assembly of God Church in Ghana, and in 2009 she was given the title of Reverend Minister.
Two honors [MFN AWARDS] have been given to her in Italy.
