The violent altercation between students from Unity Hall and University Hall on Thursday was caught on camera, and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has obtained portions of the film identifying several culprits.
The police will likely receive the video to help in their inquiries into the event.
Twelve people were hurt in the incident, which was unprovoked, and nine vehicles were damaged.
University Relations Officer Dr. Noris Bekoe.
He stated that a meeting with university management to discuss the event is set for this Friday.
Dr. Bekoe promised that the required steps would be taken to ensure that offenders are prosecuted.
Despite attempts to disable the CCTV cameras, the attack’s images may still be seen.
Police and military forces are being sent in large numbers to the university campus in the meanwhile.
