Chelsea and Pulisic agree January sale only option

Christian Pulisic and Chelsea have agreed that he would only depart in January if an outright sale is made.

Premier League teams are on high alert for a potential winter market move from Chelsea as a result of Pulisic’s World Cup performances.

And according to the Daily Mail, both the Londoners and its American star have agreed that he will only leave for a monetary sale.

Along with Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle are among those keeping an eye on developments after making inquiries in August.

Chelsea is debating whether to sell the 24-year-old during the January transfer window rather than let his contract expire after 12 months, when his worth would further decline.

The USA international earned FIFA’s Man of the Match honors following Friday’s 0-0 tie with Gareth Southgate’s team. He has received praise for performances against Wales and England in their opening Group B matches.
