Following a 6-2 victory over Iran at the World Cup, Patrice Evra admitted that he is a huge fan of England midfielder and potential Manchester United target Jude Bellingham.
Bellingham not only stood out for his play in the centre of the field, but the Borussia Dortmund star also scored to start the scoring in a game that ended with eight goals. Legends in the game have praised him for his performances this year and have compared him to great players like Bryan Robson.
The most recent compliment comes from Evra, who expressed his desire to see Bellingham play at Old Trafford soon.
Evra said: “When I see him playing for Dortmund, I wish he was playing for a team like United,” during an interview with Rio Ferdinand on Vibe With Five. What an actor.
Bellingham has been United’s long-term objective since since the team lost out on acquiring him when he left Birmingham City in 2020. The young player made the decision to relocate to Germany in order to play first team football, and he was granted his wish before emerging as one of the league’s most promising players.
He is currently raising trees at the World Cup at the age of 19. I don’t blame Evra for wanting to see more of the English youngster at Old Trafford because it has been a sensational rise to prominence.
England has a fantastic talent on their hands, as does whoever signs him in the summer.
Given the interest that is certain to arise after the World Cup, there is little to no chance that he will continue at Dortmund.
