The debut of Xiaomi’s new Xiaomi 12 Lite in South Africa has been announced, giving local consumers another smartphone alternative that is less expensive.
The business introduced the Xiaomi 12 in July, introducing a high-end device to local markets.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite seeks to mimic the luxury experience, but at a cheaper price range and with a different hardware and camera design.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite, despite its name, has a larger display than the regular model. It has a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen, which is marginally bigger than the Xiaomi 12’s 6.28-inch screen.
The smartphone also takes a unique stance when using its camera. The 12 Lite’s primary camera has a 108MP main lens, an 8MP ultrawide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. It includes a 32MP selfie camera on the front.
